Food lover can consider this places. But prepared to sweat if the weather turn hot! Today had tried this prawns noodle stall. First taste of the soup bring me back to my childhood life. Soup very authentic, ingredients very fresh. And for the pork slice, cooked to perfection tender.. I will come back for more . Alot of nice food too. Wish my stomach can eat from every stall. Hehehe. Only $4 for small bowl. But is more than enough for me.

We had late breakfast in the food centre and a walk around in the area after that. Found it a vibrant area with so many shops to visit and no loss of food options

Feb 25, this market is huge and plenty of food . Try the fish soup 01-147-‘s the Nonya Chendol. Have the fish soup again, very good plus the chendol. Try the Hainanese Chicken rice set at $5.80 plus a chicken wings - $8.10. Very good. Recommended to try.

Tables are clean. We tried the char kway teow and chendol. Average. Maybe didn't order their best item. Food centre has other interesting stuff. I bought po lo pau home from a bakery stall (served by an elder lady) and make hot for tea break, it was good. Chwee kueh was good too . The size was bigger than those I normally see. Car park a little small so got to wait for quite a while.

Chong Pang provides the raw energy of a traditional market with the hustle and bustle of people bumping and price haggling- go there if you want to feel the old vibes of Singapore hawker stalls sharing tables with uncles and aunties and with great choice of good food.
