We had a mixed experience at Chef Wan Restaurant, IOI Mall Putrajaya. The Fish & Chips was disappointing as the fish was tough and chewy, and despite the large portion, it felt almost undercooked. The Mee Goreng Mamak was quite bland, with very little seasoning. On the positive side, the Nasi with Ikan Masam Manis was very good as the flavours were well balanced, especially with the acar. The Cucur Udang was also enjoyable, with a generous portion and nice taste. Overall, the food quality felt inconsistent as some dishes were good, while others missed the mark. There’s definitely room for improvement to ensure all dishes meet the same standard. Based on my experience, Chef Wan Restaurant in Melaka offers better and more consistent food quality.

Cafe Che Wan at IOI City Mall has a cosy and pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious, especially the traditional dishes that still keep their authentic flavours. The drinks are good and the prices are reasonable for a café inside a mall. The service is friendly and efficient too. Overall, it’s a nice place to chill, enjoy a meal, or bring the family. Definitely worth a visit!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Chef Wan IOI City Mall. The food was consistently delicious, with the Laksa Johor standing out as a must try and easily among the best I have had. The cucur udang was impressively crunchy, while the pineapple asam boi offered a pleasantly unique balance of sweet and tangy flavors. I also enjoyed the free flow pandan drink, which complemented the meal well. Special appreciation to Mr. Abu Bakar for his attentive and friendly service. A memorable visit and highly recommended.

The nasi ulam was very good. The rice was soft, the chicken was tender, and the ulam made the taste nicely balanced. The lamb shank kerutub was delicious. The rice was fragrant and the parpu was very nice. The chendol was sooo good! All the food came in big portions. Really worth it.
