This restaurant is one of the well-known spots for local food around the Sungai Penchala area. They offer a wide variety of dishes, especially traditional Malay cooking, with plenty of lauk to choose from. We came here for lunch and luckily arrived early, so it wasn’t too crowded yet. Everything we tried was really good and satisfying. We were genuinely happy with the food served here. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and variety. I would definitely recommend the grilled fish, grilled squid with sambal, pais patin, and the sup tulang — none of them disappointed. There’s also a good selection of vegetables and different types of sambal available. The restaurant has two seating areas, so it can accommodate quite a lot of customers. Service was good as well. You just pick your food first, and someone will come to your table to calculate the bill. The way they present the bill is clear and detailed, which is a nice touch. For those who haven’t tried this place yet, it’s worth coming to experience it yourself. If possible, come early to secure a seat. As for parking, you can use the parking area provided at the back of the restaurant. 👍

Really like that there are many choices of lauk, and the ulam-ulaman is a big plus for me 🤍 Love having that option. The food was good overall. It’s slightly on the pricey side, but still acceptable for the variety offered. One small downside was the drinks taking a bit longer to arrive. (I already finished my food then the drinks arrived) Other than that, the experience was fine and enjoyable.
Authentic kampung cuisine, with a huge variety of dishes at lower-end prices. If unsure of what to eat, start with the fresh and tasty seafood: crab, udang galah (big head prawn), fried prawns, and especially the patin (river fish) tempoyak which alone is enough reason for repeat visits. The spacious, airy, and clean dining area is quickly filled up at the opening hour. A worthy culinary experience even with a location quite out of the city center.

Wanted to take everything in sight 🤣 Rendang Ayam (chicken thigh), Ayam Lemak Cili Api (chicken thigh), Jenahak Kari (fish), Pucuk Manis & Keledek Oren (Money leaves, tanghoon and sweet potato), Nangka Lemak Cili Api (jackfruit), Rebung Madu & Daging (bamboo shoots), Telur Dadar (egg omelette) and Bergedil (potato). A total of RM 50 🤐 Even the lady who wrote the bill was smiling and giggling 🤣🤣 The cat also looking at me, "Sure you can finish? Need help? 😻".

Perfect malaysian cuisine vast varieties of food and drinks. Lots of curries option and chicken with fish dishes. Prices are very reasonable and justify the taste and quality. However some items are bit pricey and then parking is bit hard to get cuz always crowded and very limited place for parking. Anyhow its free parking lot. So better hope you dont just get the parking spot as well as sitting too. Thank you have a good day.
